South Malé Atoll is exceptional for marine encounters year-round! The lagoon surrounding the resort is rich in fusiliers, green turtles, hawksbill turtles, spotted eagle rays, and countless colorful reef fish. Nurse sharks can often be spotted gliding gracefully in the shallow waters.
The house reef offers excellent snorkeling conditions with vibrant coral gardens. Diving conditions are optimal from December to April with best visibility, while May to November brings warmer waters and excellent opportunities for spotting larger marine life including manta rays and whale sharks on excursions.
The resort also offers daily boat trips to prime snorkeling spots, night snorkeling adventures, and specialized marine excursions throughout the year.
We recommend booking specialty dining venues (especially Baan Huraa, Origami teppanyaki, and Terrazzo), spa treatments, and signature experiences in advance, either before arrival at the resort or as soon as you arrive.
