Anantara Veli is renowned for its serene adults-only atmosphere (guests must be 18 years or older), beautiful lagoon snorkeling, and focus on wellness and romance. South Malé Atoll experiences warm tropical weather year-round with temperatures ranging from 26°C to 31°C (79°F to 88°F). The water temperature remains consistently pleasant at around 27°C to 29°C (81°F to 84°F) throughout the year, perfect for swimming and snorkeling.

Anantara Veli offers convenient round-the-clock speedboat transfers from Velana International Airport:
Mandatory shared speedboat transfer – operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with approximately 30-35 minute journey time.
Private speedboat charter – offering exclusivity and personalized service from the moment you step aboard.
Upon arrival at Velana International Airport, an airport host will greet you and escort you to the private Anantara lounge where guests enjoy complimentary juice, coffee, tea, and soft drinks. Refreshing cold towels and chilled water are served onboard the speedboat.
Anantara Veli is an adults-only resort where all guests must be 18 years or older. The resort is set with a romantic concept and activities perfectly suited for couples, honeymooners, or guests celebrating special romantic occasions.
However, please note: Families staying at sister resort Anantara Dhigu are allowed to use the restaurants at Anantara Veli, particularly after 6:00 PM for dinner. The only dining option that is exclusively adults-only is the Dhoni pool bar. Despite this, the island atmosphere remains tranquil and romantic with most facilities and villas maintaining complete privacy and seclusion. For travelers with families, we recommend Anantara Dhigu or Naladhu Private Island, both on the same lagoon as Veli with pontoon boat access.
